Bromford Flagship LiveWest (BFL) has won national awards for Most Innovative Housing Provider and Most Innovative Approach to Culture and Wellbeing.
The wins at the Housing Digital Innovation Awards highlight the organisation’s work in using technology and data to improve the homes it provides, alongside a sector-leading approach to colleague wellbeing. Bromford Flagship is now Bromford Flagship LiveWest following its merger with LiveWest in January 2026.
Lisa Collen, group director of culture and organisational design, said: “We are delighted to have this external acknowledgement of how innovative our current Culture and Wellbeing provision is.
“With the successful merger with LiveWest, we are excited about the future and how we can enable our 5,500 colleagues to thrive throughout their employment journey so they can provide even better services to the people who live in our 120,000 homes.”
BFL wins the Most Innovative Approach to Culture and Wellbeing award. From left are Ged Moore from award sponsor Auro, BFL colleagues Steph Foster, Michael Craggs, Tuesday Wilmott and Jade Greer, and host Marverine Cole.
The innovation award recognised pioneering data-driven retrofit work using live sensor technology and real-time data to accurately measure home performance. The approach, delivered in partnership with Lloyds, Senze, and Good Economy, has cut retrofit costs by up to £27,000 per property while improving energy efficiency and customer wellbeing.
The wellbeing award recognised a focus on proactive, preventative support, empowering colleagues to make healthy choices at every stage of life.
The organisation is also one of only a handful of housing associations to be a Menopause accredited workplace, supported by trained menopause champions, a dedicated healthcare programme. A place-based approach ensures wellbeing support is tailored to local needs rather than applying a one-size-fits-all model.
BFL is one of the UK’s largest housing associations, serving more than 300,000 customers across the south west, central and east of England. It is also the UK’s largest provider of new affordable homes, delivering over 3,000 each year.
